Back by popular demand, Donald Davis takes us on a journey through his rural North Carolina mountain community, meeting friends, neighbors and family members along the way. He invites each listener to come along, to pull deep inside for one's own stories, to personally share and co-create the common experiences that celebrate the creative spirit. For Davis, storytelling "is not what I do for a living...it is how I do all that I do while I am living."
The New York Times says, "I could have listened all morning to Donald Davis...his stories often left listeners limp with laughter at the same time they struggled with a lump in the throat." This performance will be interpreted for the deaf and hearing impaired.
Talk of the Town is the annual fundraiser for Storytelling Arts of Indiana. The evening includes stories, opportunity to help fund many of the programs of Storytelling Arts of Indiana, and mingle with Donald Davis
Families should plan to attend What Most Children Need is a Good Listening to told by Donald Davis on Sunday, April 12, 2015 beginning at 2 p.m.
