When darkness creeps across the sky and the harvest moon grows full and fat, spirits stalk the grounds of Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis' oldest and most beautiful cemetery. Join us among the headstones for a night of tales of the dead and the undead. Pack a picnic (or pick up dinner from a variety of food trucks at the event including the Gypsy Cafe, Kaffeine Coffee Company and Flying Cupcakes) and bring your cooler, lawn chairs and blanket. Don't forget a flashlight to help you find your way back to your hearse in the dark. Gate opens at 6:30 p.m., stories begin at 7:30. The stories start friendly for all audiences but grow progressively more frightening as the night wears on. The event is held under a large tent and will be held rain or shine.
Attend the RIP Reception from 5 - 7 p.m. before the Ghost Stories. The RIP reception sponsored by The National Bank of Indianapolis includes food provided by BARTOS Catering and Concessions, beer donated by Sun King and wine donated by the Mass. Ave. Wine Shop as well as live music featuring Rick Libert. Mingle with the storytellers, sponsors, board members and guests of this unique organization.
Ghost Stories are interpreted for the deaf and hard of hearing.
