Join us among the headstones for a night of tales of the dead and the undead. Pack a picnic (or pick up dinner from a variety of food trucks at the event including the Gypsy Cafe, Groovy Guys Fries, and Scout's Treat Truck) and bring your cooler, lawn chairs and blanket. Don't forget a flashlight to help you find your way back to your hearse in the dark. Stories are appropriate for older children. Ghost Stories are interpreted for the deaf and hard of hearing. Event will be held rain or shine
Be sure to come early and celebrate the cemetery's 150th Anniversary at "Crown Fest," with a ride on the "Dillinger Trolley," and to enjoy a host of historical re-enactors sharing their stories with us. Situated close to the Ghost Stories tent, "Crown Fest" will provide a seamless experience of fun during the fall, one of the most colorful times of year at Crown Hill! "Crown Fest" is from 5 - 7 p.m.; no additional fee.
Attend the RIP Reception from 5 - 7 p.m. before the Ghost Stories. The RIP reception sponsored by The National Bank of Indianapolis includes food provided by Food Guys, beer donated by Sun King and wine donated by the Mass. Ave. Wine. Mingle with the storytellers, sponsors, board members and guests of this unique organization.
