The vast technical and scientific effort that is the U.S. Space Program has always been animated by individuals. People with faults and foibles, strengths and amazing reserves of imagination and courage have defined the era. A surprising number of these people and institutions have Indiana connections. In this Sharing Hoosier History Through Stories performance, join storyteller Bob Sander as he takes us on a journey that recalls and celebrates some of the Stars of Indiana: Hoosier NASA Connections.
This is not the first time Bob has been commissioned by Storytelling Arts of Indiana and the Indiana History Society. Other stories include Diggers and Dreamers: The Canal Age of Indiana and Leap of Faith: The Promise of the Robert's Settlement. Bob was awarded the Creative Renewal Fellowship from the Arts Council of Indianapolis in 2001 in recognition of his work as a full-time artist. To learn more about Bob Sander visit his website.
