Major Accomplishments from July 1, 2008 - June 30, 2009
- Raised $63,000 of our $100,000 goal for the Story Lives On endowment campaign.
- Produced the Printing Partners Hoosier Storytelling Festival, October 8 - 11, 2008.
- Participated in the Spirit & Place Festival in collaboration with St. Luke's United Methodist Church, the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, Congregation Beth-El Zedeck, Jewish Community Center, and Muslim Reentry Network of Indiana
- Commissioned Hope Baugh to develop and premiere the story, Of the People: Stories and Images of Abraham Lincoln collaboration with the Indiana Historical Society.
- Presented seven solo storytelling performances for adults.
- Co-presented two family storytelling performances in collaboration with the Carmel Clay Public Library, the Lawrence Branch Library and Geo Foundation.
- Collaborated with Indy Parks & Recreation to present 30 storytelling performances in the neighborhood parks during the months of July and August.
- Weekly storytelling at Riley Children's Hospital. Storytellers visit the bedside of the patients sharing stories and songs.
- Monthly As I Recall Storytelling Guild Meetings at the Glendale Branch Library open to the general public. Participants listen and share their family stories.
