My Story

I provide storytelling programs that inspire, heal, and teach adult audiences. I have provided storytelling programs in a variety of settings, including hospitals, therapy clinics, prisons, churches, retreat centers, family reunions, and college classrooms. I have also assisted professionals to enhance storytelling and listening skills within their work, including mental health providers, public defenders, physicians and nurses. I most enjoy crafting programs, in which I both tell stories and invite audiences to share their own. I will design a program that works for your specific needs and am available for storytelling performances, workshops, retreats, and individual/group creative mentoring sessions.

Possible Programs

  1. Stories that Enliven Us: Explore how folktales, myths, and wisdom stories speak to us as lifelong friends and guides.

  2. The Magic of Imagination: Awaken the healing potential of imagination through stories, dreams, metaphors, and poetry.

  3. Family History Stories: Learn from my family history pilgrimage stories how to gather, research, record, and share your own family stories in creative ways.

  4. Creative Personal Narratives: Discover how storytelling can celebrate life experiences that teach us to live more courageously.
